HMMMM, when you go to sell it and they see this thread in a search under your name, red flag up ! I wouldn't do mine in this way, just an opinion.

Wink Getting worried

Hi,

I've just joined and I'm already a bit concerned about this thread.

I'm reading about a tranny, drag race, and high heels - are all you guys like this on this site?

Hold the brake, down hard, then slowly hit the gas, until you can't hold the car anymore, then floor it, & let off the brake.

Another way, this is BAD, put in N, rev, then drop in D & you floor it.
I only do that in rental cars

Easy fix >>> get the new 997 with sport mode. You can rev to 6000 RPM and let loose the brake... Tires will smoke but supposedly no harm done to the clutches, etc..., according to the local Porsche dealer's master mechanic during last Saturday's tech session... Plus, you get a newly designed engine with eight oil pumps...

BTW ... FWIW ... I know several guys round these parts who have mastered the 993 tip ... and can run circles 'round those who might dare suggest they're drivin' a ladies car ...

Of course not.

Some of us are much worse!

Hmmm- put the tip in the rubber, heels pointing straight up, unless it's a tranny in drag. Gothcha! Here of course, is the best "...Gotcha":
