Default Parting with my 993...sadly Pice Reduced

I am reluctantley selling my beloved 993 in favor of completing the house I started building 13 months ago. I am the third owner of this car and have all reciepts and paperwork since new. The car has 52K on the odometer and a host of fantastic upgrades. The car runs flawlessly and has been used primarliy for DE's for the past 5 years with an average of about 12 to 15 days a season. In that time I have missed only one session, for a mechanical, which was due to a broken belt, the car is very solid and dependable.

Upgrades include:
Euro Trany with Guards LSD. Tranny has some newer gears and syncros and has about $12k put into it. Tranny was gone over and refreshed when recieved from Europe. This is a fantastic upgrade which makes 6th gear usable among other things.

RS LWF and clutch. This was installed with the tranny along with any other parts that would normally be replaced when you have that kind of access...throw out bearing, rear main seal, etc. Heal toeing is a dream with this setup.

RS tranny mount.

PSS9 suspension lowered to RS ride hieght.

TRG sway bars front and rear.

Sparco Evo 2 seats with sliders on both sides.

6 point harness both seats.

DAS sport rollbar.

RSR mufflers along with drilled airbox. Sounds great.

New windshield.

Gert front protection bar.

Strut tower brace.

Wheels:

Newer Fikse Mach 5's with Toyo RA-1's
Older, rough, Fikse FM-10's
Cup 2's with very good set of Toyo RA-1's

I have the original seats and they are in excellent condition.

Spares:
DME relay
Half shaft, new ($500 value)
Wheel bearing and puller
Lots of brake pads.
O2 sensors
Belts
Other stuff....

Car has some stone chips in the front and a small split in the rear bumper cover. Very tight and fun to drive.

Price is $40,000 obo Price can move a bit further south if you don't want the whole package. Mid 30's with maybe just the Mach 5's?

I sure would love to see you get anywhere near $42K for your car right now. Good luck.

Its a starting point. Hard to say what anything is worth at the moment. The tranny, LWF and wheels push the value up a bit I would think.

Nicely set up 993! Any chance you are interested in selling the Fiske fm10's separately? If so, please pm with specifics. Good luck with sale of one awesome 993!

Jamie,

I'm sorry to see you selling your car but at least it's going to a worthy, appreciating cause. Good luck with everything.

Wish your car had been available last year .

GL with the sale - for the right buyer, the tranny, goodies, and extra wheels make it a nice track toy package.

Thanks everyone. Regardless I will be back at some point in a 911. It's ironic that Millville just opened 45 min. from my back door and I come to this point.

Here's a pic of the new project, I am building it myself with my brother and 2 friends, subing out masonary, HVAC, rock, roof and insulation only.

Jamie, good luck with the sale, and with your "little" project of a house! I will miss you and that car at the track, but will look forward to seeing you back in the future.

Jamie,
Good luck with the sale. Looks like a beach house? Let us know - never know when we might just drop in :-).

Two garages (never had one of those) and room for guests among other things. House is a dutch colonial that will wear real cedar shingles. We wanted an old school look in a time when its been a bit forgotton here were we live.

And close to the beach, yes.

Cheers.

Hoping and praying you get s sh*t load of money for your car. It's such a great package, with lots of extra goodies. Then, if you do, maybe the others (maybe me included) will get good money for our cars too if we sell this year .

Good luck with the house - it looks awesome.
