When you live in a crime ridden area you have to protect yourself (Me and my Dad had matching Smith & Wesson 38 cal. hand guns (in the trunk)
This happen to a friend of mine in Miami with his brand spanking new 650i 2 years ago. He parked at a hotel, where the front desk had a clear view of his car. In the morning he found it on cinder blocks and front desk didn't have a clue..right.

Happened in Italy years ago to someone I know. Had lunch on a terrace with a view of the side of the car. When they went to leave, the side they could not see had been stripped of the wheels and tires

Wheels locks just slow someone down. While in school we used to watch from our balcony at all the people getting towed at certain times of night for illegal parking in the apt. lot. They towed to right across the street at a huge parking lot. Pretty sad when you saw how the cars got towed ASAP with no regards for anything. Cars going over curbed planters and other nonsense since the towtrucks barely fit. I am scared of getting towed for this reason alone. Not to mention my car would get stripped at a yard here in LA.
