Default PPI in W. Houston, TX?

All:

Can anyone recommend a good shop to get a PPI on the West side of Houston?

Thanks in advance,

Paul.

I would use Protechnik in SW Houston but here are some others from the local PCA mag. http://www.lsrpca.com/advertisers.htm

Of course there is Mike Callas out in Sealy. Can't go wrong there either.

Thanks guys, but Mike is 3.5 hours from where the car is. Any experience with Pro Technik in Houston? Is there a contact there I should ask for?

3h? Mike Callas is on the 'West Side' of Houston in Seally very close to I-10. If the car is in the western area of Houston, it will be 1h max if you avoid rush hours.

Could you say more on the car's location? That might spark additional input. Also, might try the Pelican 911 board. The dealer out here is West Houston Porsche but I shy away from dealers.

All:

I googled Mike Callas and it showed the 3.5 hr distance. Car is in Fulshear, which is pretty close to Pro Technik.

Car is a silver/black '96 Carrera 4 coupe with 54k on the odometer. Private seller.

Thanks,

Paul.

Fulshear to Mike's shop is about 20-30 minutes.

Bizarre but true google maps is completely off! Mike is actually closer, about half an hour from Fulshear...

Yep, Fulshear iis out west so Callas would be ideal. Especially in the car isn't normally serviced there. Good luck. Ken

Thanks guys! I'll call Mike Callas tomorrow. Any ideas on how much a PPI should run me?

Cheers,

Paul.

Mine was about $280 up in the Denver area. If you want another set of eyes on it, let me know. Ken

Ken:

Thanks! I'm trying to get the PPI set up for later this week. Can you PM me your number in case I need help? It's tough when I'm in Oregon!

Paul.
