For what it's worth, I believe Guards Red C4S' tend to be faster than their C2S equivalents... and their owners tend to be more handsome... ; )

Oddly enough I've heard the same about polar silver... must be some truth to the story.

I've owned and tracked both a C4 and a C2 and I never found much difference really. The steering was a little heavier in the C4. But handling was identical on the street, and just a little different on the track.

That said, if I planned to drive it in foul weather, I'd prefer a C4. If not, then C2.

Someone on the turbo forum (who seem to do 2wd conversions a lot) said 85 pounds. Here's a good picture of the difference between a 2WD and AWD https://rennlist.com/forums/993-turb...2wd+conversion makes me think of converting to a C4-2S

Nollie, There's not just "some truth to the story", but its a fact.....Polar Silver C4S drivers are by far the best looking.

Original Poster,
Try searching on this C4S vs C2S topic. It has been covered numerous times before and search will reveal a lot of good discussions. I went thru the 993 hunt process about 2 years ago, and spent uncountable hours searching and reading. And, since its been discussed ad nauseam, the responses you are getting might get a bit "sidetracked"....see above...and call me guilty...

Enjoy the hunt for your 993. You are in the right place here on rennlist to find tons of help and very knowledgeable people.
