Three Wheelin'
OK, along with my Turquoise Blue RS I'll take the above as well. And since we've gone this far let's make it the 98 "EVO" model with 450PS! Add SG seatbacks, red belts, roll bar in SG, and Alcantra dash top and steering wheel hub (I've seen pics of a silver 98 EVO so equipped) and we'd be set.

RS with the standard aero package. All the lightweight goodies and a cage that was removable. I would have a hard time picking a color. I would love signal green, but probably go with something a little more subtle. I would probably have a DD in addition, but I would drive the crap out of the thing.
A realistic option for those with deep pockets would be a call to Mr Belton at 9M. Build it to spec with about 400 hp - be still, my heart.

Funny thing with all the RS lust I'm seeing here today, in owning a faux car as close as pretty much anyone is going to get, it's a nearly useless car for anything other than on the track. And even with that, after last Tuesday I'm pretty satisfied that you can achieve 95% of the performance for 33% of the money. Obviously buying one already set up. Make no mistake, I like what I've got. I just don't think that if I had to have just one 911 this would be it.

At the time (1996, 1997), in a mass of whites, blacks, grays and golds, turquoise was such a striking color that it took some getting used to, especially if you don't like drawing attention to yourself. I got my car at marginally over dealer cost because I successfully argued that they'd never sell that color in America. Today it's just a rare classic that accentuates the beauty of the car.
perhaps we'll cross paths some day?
one of Skip's day away events?
Irvine cars-n-coffee, tomorrow?
enjoy

Bumping this old thread.
And as much as I still want that Turquoise Blue M002 RS or Viper Green GT2, something much simpler would be the case today.
PTS Signal Yellow/black C2 coupe. I'd want the G50/21 (Euro) gearbox, Sport seats, M030 suspension, 18" Technology wheels, rear seat delete, and that's about it.

Old thread, but what the heck, it's a lazy day
I'd take a TT with the RS tail!!! Then spec Riv, Gulf, or Mexico blue, black interior. And MY02 wheels. Perfection!

The riv blue turbo S that Seinfeld had. That's the ultimate 993 to me. Yes, I love the GT2 and the RS, but that Turbo S is the most amazing one I've ever seen.
