For sale. No affiliation. No shortage of things to discuss, but I'll lead off with carbon fiber.
96 Porsche Twin Turbo. Highly modified. Full Custom. (Phoenix, Arizona)
"The Full nose is wide body carbon fiber (front bumper, hood, fenders and rear tail. The interior is full of Carbon fiber trim including the Sparco 3 point harness Sport seats. 2 Carbon fiber sun visors with DVD screens. Rear custom Carbon fiber Kit for DVD screens and sub woofers. The front compartment has a full Carbon fiber enclosure for the Alpine Amps."
What, no CF door sills?
Cross-post: my Turbo forum thread yesterday.

Wow. I can see that the owner loved car in their own way... but it's a tad bit gauche for my tastes your mileage may vary. All they need are Dymag wheel's to finish the package http://www.dymag-usa.com/

I assume the guy works in a Carbon Fiber factory.....otherwise he could have just bought a CGT for the CF investment hes made and gotten the whole shootin' match

DVD screens in the CF sun visors! CF sub enclosures! Now I've seen everything.
It's not just that things like this are unbelievably tacky -- it's that they're also really, really stupid. The whole point of CF is to save weight. DVD screens and huge stereos are heavy. This car is a massive stupid contradiction. If you want to be a ricer who plays video games in his car in the 7-11 parking lot, then do the sub enclosures and DVD screens. If you want to build a race car, do the carbon fiber. But you can't do both without being a total *******.

Why didn't I think of this mod? My old avatar of Stella's in the boot are asking me the same question.
I like the black or CF rings around the headlights though. The rest of the mods are obviously to the owners taste. Still never could figure out why people put a screen in the drivers side visor. Its like putting a cage in the rear and then hanging a big LCD off of the cage.
