What a great day. I just got back from visiting Wayne's (host of Chasing Classic cars) Open House down at his shop/showroom in Ct today. Probably 200+ cars showed up throughout the day. He has an amazing inventory, but some of the cars showing up were equally impressive. Bugatti's, duesenberg's, Cord, many Ferrari's of all years including a nice yellow Enzo. Probably 30+ pcars showed up which was a welcome site. Some very rare cars.

I hope to post some pics tomorrow.

I've been to Wayne's place. Very cool. If you travel a little further down into CT and pick up the Merritt, you can stop by Richard Sloan's place, which I think is even more impressive for the Porsche content. You need to call ahead to make sure he'll be there.

No affiliation.

Did you happen to see/look at the 73 911 Gulf Blue with the 964 motor that Wayne has for sale?
Robert has quite an itch for it!!!

BTW...Robert looks like Waynes twin brother!

I went up to Sloans to purchase a 1998 C4s with a friend, he has some amazing "Porches" in his collection. Every Porsche nut should check it out

I did. I LOVE IT! In fact, the guy who rode down with me was looking it over and thinking it might be a nice addition to his collection which currently has no pcars. I was thinking about that car again today. Great looking and would be a blast to drive.

Just .02 worth but be careful dealing with Richard. I can tell you 100 stories that would curl your toes. Although some people have had great experiences.
