Hamster's a Porsche fan, hence my question.

Who drives it is up to the customer, but I doubt that it will fit a lanky leadfoot wearing size 13 shoes in any case.

Colin,
What an amazing Porsche.
The only thing better then watching it come together was seeing it completed.
Please keep posting your other cars on the 993 thread!

All the dash panels, the dash top, steering wheel, centre console and seat pads are covered in black alacantara which is done for us by a (highly skilled/experienced) friend. If anyone wants this doing for their interior we can certainly have it done but will need you to send us the pieces to be trimmed, I'm afraid we can't offer an exchange service (I think I was asked via email about doing a dash top) other than for GT3RS steering wheels (which we normally do in black with red, blue or yellow colour centre marker).
Thanks for the info Colin,

Also, I really like the alcantara dash.

Just remember that you saw it here first!

(In fact it's already been copied by one of our competitors who saw the car in our workshop whilst we were building it and used the idea for his own 964RS looky-likey.)

The alcantera interior is brilliant! I can't believe no body thought of that sooner. Shame on us!

A few of us did last year. I will be looking into that dash and headliner to complete mine.

Beautiful work.

I'm working on it but I only have footage taken in the workshop so it's not spectacular stuff. I'm also a u-bend novice so it may take a while....

However the good news is that one of Baf's mates has taken loads of footage at Brands and will be posting something after this weekend.

Very nice Mr B...It must be very satisfying cherry picking the parts to make such a car and then seeing the result.

Impressed at the weight, especially for a widebody with arches,,,slightly confused by speakers and radio blanking plate, does the owner intend to fit his own ICE?...as we both know in a CS you will not hear anything once you are moving, the mechanical sounds echoing round the shell are the only music you need!

Thank you, you're right in that it was a very satisfying experience, probably more for Marc rather than myself since I have built many engines that exceed the specification of this one, although none as pretty before.

As for the speakers, the customer intends to use his Ipod but requested the option to fit a head unit at a later date, so behind the dash are euro plugs ready to go. Look closely though, it's not just an ordinary blanking plate, it's trimmed in skived leather!
