No you do not need to rmove the crank pulley to remove the engine stand.

Bare in mind that to reinforce the engine stand, you have your dual coils to displace.

Not the same engine mounts, C2 mounts are gel filled, C4 and turbo are not.
C2 mounts have upward dampening, C4 do to a lesser extent (only rubber) because of front transaxle combo.
C4 mounts work on C2, I chose this alternative.
Thanks Geo
Thats what I thought ,how do you find C4 mounts on a C2

Easy alternative, 1/3 price, more shift and Rev feel in cabin, 1 year already, they haven't moved, still brand new.
I guess these fall between the gelly orig. and the revo etc. in rigidity.
I like them actually.
Someone surely read the info on rennlist some time ago, and is selling the C4
ones on ebay calling them upgrades.

just checked prices on Peli and other sites in the US.
In europe, the C2 cost 318 euros each mount
the C4 cost 108 euros each.
On the bay, the guy is selling both C4 mounts as pair, so 2 mounts for $161.99 is a good price, I think.
NO aff. of course.

Geo: With C4 mounts and a reinforced carrier is there a down side to engine jacking?

Interesting. I was considering the C4 mounts as a cheaper option (and not worry about the carrier) but previous threads implied that they are softer. And now I understand why they're cheaper too. Thanks for the info.
