A few years ago, a Rennlister (not Princeton Wong) was fabbing his own single-turbo 993. I'm not sure the final outcome was ever discussed. This is the only pic I have of it:

LOL. WOW! I wonder what the turbo lag is like with that setup? Probably bad, but I bet that motor hauls once the boost kicks in.

i pm'd that guy when i was looking for a car because he lives within about an hour from me. he responded back but we haven't talked for close to a year. i forget his name but he was friendly and offered to meet up so that i could take a look at his car. from what i remember, i think he started with a '95 and built it into a NB turbo.

Sorry, I didn't click on your 6speed link. Andreas' post inquired about Princeton's car, to which I thought Roche was referring to. Princeton could be anywhere since he has a student when he was working on his car and, IIRC, living in Texas.
