Its not a big complaint, but kind of annoying as I have forgotten to mail stuff or bring CDs in to work, etc. haha

I have this same issue on my '78.

The immobiliser has to be the top pf my list. No range. Quirky operation. Key fob breaks. The other things I've tended to accept as classic 911 features. I never adjsut the HVAC excpet the temp **** becuase I can't see the controls and I'm not sure what they do anyway. I find the ignition keyhole by braille. Yes. it's a reach to change the stereo, and I use the slots in the seat cushions to hold thin things. Any passengers must do duty as the cupholder.

What a bunch of whiners! If you are driving correctly you don't need CDs-the music from behind is a symphony. Remember they didn't even come with cup holders for a reason-they are sport cars. Geeeeeeezzzzzzzz Rant off

The designers certainly weren't thinking about ease of use on most of the non-essential things for a car... I second the one about the HVAC controls... I still don't understand what the hell they do... I just slide the slides back and forth until I feel the air where I want it, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. It may be better than my 84 though... I never figured that out.

I'd like to find a CD player capable of handling track duty you know how annoying it is to listen to a cd that keeps skipping when you're doing 1G in a turn I had to reach over and shut it off.......then it got to warm in the cabin (this w/e) and I had trouble finding the heater controls at speed damn Gunter.....

I put things in the back seat, they don't slide around and they are easy to grab...

Mucho frustrating!

G.
I find at least half the time that my hand finds the key hole perfectly without even looking. Practice makes permanent!

Unfortunately the rest of the time I stab around in the dark with the key while cursing under my breath

My car gets dirty all the time, and worst of all, it uses gasoline. Damn those engineers!

Funny thing is, this just happened to me (albeit not in the 993)... My car was in the shop, but I was still instructing and needed to take my student out... Well... wifeys car (G35) was right there, so I took my student out for a couple of hot laps... Brought it back and the CD is irrepairably jammed and brakes were fried .... She was not happy with me..

You guys need an iPod-ready deck. I haven't played a CD in years.
