I am ordering the stuff to change my oil from pelican and the only crush washer I see is:
900-123-118-30-M131 (22x27mm)
However, it I look at pcarworshop, it says I need the following for oil change:
900 123 095 30 Seal washer for engine drain plug, 21x26mm for cars 1996 and up.
It looks like they switched to a slightly smaller size in 96.
Do people just use the 22x27 and call it good enough?

Interesting. Looking at the parts guide, the crush washer for the tank is the same for all years. However, the crush washer for the engine drain has a different part number. From the parts guide (not PET but the PDF based one):
900 123 118 30 is a A 22x27 sealing ring (same as for the tank)
900 123 011 30 is a A 22x27 sealing ring 96 -
The part number is different, but the size is the same. The 96- is either superseded or different in some way.
The size is the same. I will admit though, I reuse these rings and have been doing for years with no leaks.
Cheers,
Mike
