Default New 993 (Lots of Pics)

My new 993 finally arrived in Orange County, CA (from Kentucky). My planned road trip home was abruptly cancelled when my wife was involved in a car accident (she'll eventually be fine, but it was a pretty major accident).

I could not be happier with the car I purchased from Arena 993 (aka Mike). It was exactly as described and there were absolutely no surprises. Early '95 Midnight Blue/Classic Gray. Bone Stock (for now....)

Here are a few pictures I took this morning at Crystal Cove State Park off PCH in Newport Beach.

Congrats, she's a beauty. Great color. I love the dark blue and gray on a cab.

Enjoy it in good health and let the mods begin. Hope your wife gets back to 100% quickly.

Sorry to hear about your wife's accident, may she have a speedy recovery. On a lighter side, congrats on a beautiful 993 in my favourite colour! Any plans for it?

Definately new shocks/springs soon (probably M030 and Bilstein HD's). It needs it. I would like to ride in a local OC car with this suspension set-up (or anything other than stock) to see the difference. Anyone in OC interested in taking a new 993 owner for a ride? I am in the Irvine/Newport Beach area--but will meet you anywhere.....

Well well, I do believe this is the car I "PPI'd" for Mike two-plus years ago on Long Island, NY -- and - not for nuffin' -- both he and you made the right choice to buy this beauty.

I'm glad that I had 'input' to both of your decision makings. As I said to Mike, and yourself: (quote) "you should jump at this!" I'm glad to see you're pleased with your purchase and that there were no surprises. (I knew there wouldn't be any.)

Yes, change the suspension to the Bilstein M030 HD/springs/beefy sway-bar setup. I had this done to my own 18 months ago and have never looked back. I had mine lowered to RS height too -- and she drives 'planted'.

Back to your car -- between Mike and yourself, you have 'spruced her up' something wicked -- :-) -- and the above pictures DO her justice. For a '95 she looks totally showroom -- the paintwork/polish-job is outstanding. KUDOS !!!

Enjoy your ride - you made, absolutely, the correct decision!

Cordially,

Gerry

P.S. All our best to your wife and a speedy recovery.

Hey that car looks familiar. I am glad it found its way to you. I know you will be happy with it. The pics you took are just great!!! That car needed to be in CA. ENJOY and it was great dealing with you. A very smooth transaction and honest buyer. Call anytime if you have any questions.

Hope your wife recovers quickly.

Mike is one of those guys I would buy a 993 from without an in person inspection. His word is enough.

Nice looking cab. I can recommend West End in Gardena for the suspension work.

Great looking Cab. Congrats.

And judging by how great the paint finish looks, I suspect that Mike had something to do with that!
