So the story goes like this: I work in the Greenfield Industrial Park in Lancaster, PA and the place is full of warehouses/businesses/offices including our 40,000 square foot building. I called the park manager and inquired about renting a minimum 20,000 square footer for a Saturday/Sunday event and he is looking to see what he has open or what might be available. The whole indoor idea is so weather would not be a factor and opens the door for other cool stuff like possible vendors, bartenders, DJ, security, etc. There is a Courtyard Marriot within walking distance of most of the park as well. This would be 90% Porsche but we could allow a few Ferrari's and Lambos as well to make things interesting. Just wanted to put a feeler out to see how much interest, would you be willing to lay down an entry fee (this will cost a bit for the facility), and could we get 100+ cars?

Yeah, I'd like to hook up for a day in PA. Gives me a chance to see some old friends while there.

I really nixed the idea because of the crappy responses on the forums i posted on but I am trying something on a smaller scale. If I find a venue it will be heavily advertised and I would like to make it donation only with all extra money going to the Lancaster County Food Bank.

Sounds like fun. Esp if there is a good air-cooled turnout. I went to a local thing last year sponsored by Fabspeed, and my 993 was the oldest car there, believe it or not. Not that 996 owners can't be cool, but... you know.

Just a shout out from my Lancaster born-and-raised wife. You guys also lifers? She went to Hempfield High.
I don't think she even knew what a Porsche was until she grew up and moved to DC!

Count me in. I bet you could get a few of the "local" tuners and car parts guys to attend and maybe offer a few event specials. You might also increase the attendence if you were able to organize a Porsche "oil change station".

I already talked to our local Porsche dealer about bringing some cars for display/demo.
