Default Hanging clutch pedal...

NOT!

I've lived with a clutch pedal that hangs just an inch ...you know, the "toe pull up" procedure. Well now almost 1K miles after the new clutch and slave, no hint of hanging pedal. Nice! Hope she stays that way.

Anyone swap their clutch or slave and NOT do the pedal fix find that they are just fine now? Just wondering

Mine still hangs after clutch replacement and the slave bleeding.

Just replaced Master and Slave and all is better now. No more hang time...

Replaced master and slave less than 500 miles ago. No more hanging. Initially had the dreaded click but that is also now gone. 55,000 miles on original clutch.

Hmmm ...given the responses so far, maybe the slave cylinder is the common culprit here.

Default Getting on My Last Nerves

Did the clutch master and slave and still have the hanging problem. I'm pretty sure it's in the clutch master cylinder's linkage or spring (although I lubricated the hell out of those parts). After 154K miles, the cluster parts probably needs replacing. Just don't know the exact ones. Has anyone else replaced any of those parts?
