Anyone interested in the Cross Country drive that I made this past weekend in my "new" 1999 C43 AMG??? I drove from Los Angeles to Miami in 3 days. I took lots of pictures, but didn't post because I don't think we have too many MBZ lovers here.....

...couldn't recall if I'd sent you this picture....Designergenes
Sorry, I missed this yesterday. You did send me a track picture way back when, but I think it was a different one. You're lucky to have the Miller Raceway close by; we're losing our track in a few months.
Hope you and Wendy are still enjoying the Turbo!

Thanks everybody, for your compliments.
Not this year, but the first trip we made after getting the car last year was to Whistler, via Duffy Lake Road (this is another lake just west of Lilloet):
Interestingly, some parts of the Trans Canada were fun to drive with the light June traffic.
This year the plan is to go down into Idaho, in September, via the Salmon River Canyon, then work our way west and north into the Kootenays (to one of my favourite places, the Leland Hotel in Nakusp, where I can enjoy beer on the deck overlooking the lake). Here's that deck, being enjoyed by some biker boys and yours truly:
But we'll probably do another coast run sometime soon, perhaps via the North Cascade route, then north. Also, possibly a trip to your Twin Peaks event, which looks like fun. We'll perhaps have to have a wobbly pop next time we're out your way.
...any trips to the wet coast...planned?TimothyMoffatt
