Default Disabling Rear Spoiler?

Is there an easy way to disable the rear spoiler on our cars?

I'm in the process of painting the rear spoiler to match my car and of course I dropped a $25 bolt that attaches it into the engine.

Need to pick up the part tomorrow without the spoiler attached. For some reason when the spoiler isn't attached the spoiler motor does not stop running. Is there a fuse or plug to turn it off?

Never mind, I think I found my answer. Should be a plug under the driver side dash.

It's under the PASSENGER'S side. It is about the size of a pack of cigs. This will disable the spoiler and keep the light from comming on. 5 seconds to do

Assuming your car is LHD, it's actually under the passenger side dash, at the very top of the carpet. Look for a small box with a plug attached to it (the box is aluminim IIRC).

Sheeeez. I guess I should have taken typing classes so I'd be faster.
