Anyone regret selling their 993
Lately, I have been thinking about selling my 993TT; and getting something else.
I don't use the car much and started thinking maybe I should sell it; but am scared that I am going to regret it. The car has low miles and is in mint condition, I have owned it for over 7 years and it's always maintained by PowerTech. Any thoughts or opinions
Thanks

The only time I sold a car that I assumed I would never sell, I made a point of using it more before I sold it and evaluating how I enjoyed it at the time. In my case, the more I used it, the more it became clear that I was ready to move on. When I sold it, I missed it, but never felt like I made a mistake.
I would think you need to ask yourself questions about what you want from your 993. If you had it for 7 years and have low miles, it sounds like a garage queen. If so, is it because you want to keep it perfect and therefore can't enjoy it? Or, maybe it's because you don't enjoy driving it period? Or, maybe it's because you no longer have time to drive it?
If I was in your shoes, I would DRIVE it for a while, then decide. Take a long trip, drive it to work for a while, go to the track. Whatever, just use it and see if it still puts a smile on your face, or not.

I will try to post some current pics, but I have a couple of pics from the previous owner but can't seem to upload them.
Only upgrade that I have done is HRE 540 polished wheels (still have the original turbo twist).
Still love the car, just feeling bad that I don't get to drive it much

Let me ask you this. If you sell the 993 and replace it with something else are you going to do the same thing with the other car (i.e. keep it in a garage and never drive it)? If so why replace it? You will be putting yourself in the same boat albeit with another car? Or are you just ready for something new? BTW what color is it? What options does it have? Ya know just being nosey.

Sounds like you won't get to drive the next one either. Think long and hard. They are getting harder to replace and this one sounds like a gem. As mentioned, drive the heck out of her till winter. You would probably want to wait until spring to sell anyway.

Don't do it... ask me how I know!
I am so sad! The new owner (great guy... Roche here in rennlist) is modding her to his own specs.
That's my baby!

I agree with everyones comment.
Ont hing I noticed is that the more I drive it the more I love it. The main reason I don't get to drive it much is because
1. Don't have time, I work a lot of hours and when I am off I spend a lot of time with my wife and two kids (5 and 3) and when we're together we usually drive the minivan
2. Don't drive it to work much because I havbe this thing about driving a P-car to work, don't want my managers to know I have a nice car (or a P-car)
So not sure what to do

I think that you will miss it. I traded my 993 targa for a 997S. And while the 997S is a great car, I missed the 993. Especially the 993TT.
And, as your kids get older you will get more time to spend with them in the 993. At your kids ages, your car is perfect. Just go and enjoy it.
