Don't know about the dealer, but the only 993's in the US are MY95-98.

Doesn't look like an M030 suspension. If it's been changed at all, it looks like US-spec M033. If it hasn't
been changed (ie it's still stock), then it will wallow like a pig and it will cost $3k to make it right. In any
event, it's still at SUV height.

Compare to the second picture here (shameless plug of my own car)... THIS is a RoW M030:

Agreed. If you are going to pay 38k for a car, I think Wayne's car would be a better choice and for a few thousand more, you could have a Carrera S with slightly higher mileage. While this may sound like a shameless plug, just wanted to point out that at that price range you certainly have better options. However, if the dealership were to come down on price about 4k, it probably would not be a bad deal per se.

Just my thoughts.

I've purchased 2 Porsches from Weissach and would highly recommend Phil and Dan to anyone. They are a first class operation. Good luck!!

In this market, I would say around $32,000-$33,000

I would agree, 32-33k is market value.
Of course there is tax on top of his price, plus I doubt he has or will give you the previous owners' records.
IMO the blue interior is dated and 2-3k for suspension work.
I think you can get more car for less money or venture into the widebody market for a couple thousand more...
Seems like they have a good reputation though.

I wish I could afford the wide body the truth is I am having a hard time with these numbers. I wonder how long before prices start to drop due to the market. Spoke with Tim Holt today and he told me that he lost his finance guy to the wall street mess. How do you do business without lending, this banking mess is getting crazy. If they would give me the car for 32-33K I would do it. I would like Wane's car but Texas is far away and it is just a little out of my price range. Well you guys are great keep the info coming it has been very helpful...

Can someone please change the title of this thread to proper English grammar? The word is "hear".

Ahh a ball buster, I am sorry for the mistake in my diction, I will make every effort to curtail all future mistakes by having my assistant proof read my posts.... LOL
