Default For Sale: NB hollow spokes (price reduced)

Set of 18" NB hollow spokes (993 twists) with Pilot Sport Ribs with about 4k miles on them.

I can e-mail better (close ups) photos. I was unable to attach the close ups to this post.

I am planning on getting a tread depth guage this weekend - if I do, I will report back with the readings.

S.F. Bay Area pick up only.

$1,450.00 (reduced from $1,800 (and $1,600)).

The fronts are the 7.5" 996 width/offset (ET 50).

The part numbers are 993 362 134 05 (front) and 993 362 140 01 (rear) (the rears are 10" and have an ET 65 offset).

BTW- Harry is the man! This is a very fair deal. These wheels are 99% clean and need zero refinishing, IMO. Bear in mind, these Michelin$ are expensive. I almost got them myself, but our plans changed. He sent me some good pics that I still have, if anyone wants to see.

I'm with Chuck!!! I wish I needed some wheels. Or even tires at that price! NB hollow spokes aren't easy to come by.

Harry, I sent you a PM on your other listing for trading with Cup II's. What sizes are the tires?

PM Sent...I will take them as soon as I learn what the offset means...will these fit on a stock 993? Can the offset be removed and brought back to stock?

Sorry about that: 225/40/18 (front) and 265/35/18 (rear)

The offsets fit narrow/standard-bodied 993s.

But I believe that some people with wide bodies run NB offset wheels with spacers in the rear to achieve the correct offset.

These will fit you cab, no problem. You will need rear spacers to put them on your S, though.

Think of offset as a measure of the depth of the wheel. The lower the number, the farther they stick out from the hub (away from the car).

According to the $2.99 tread-depth guage that I purchased today (someday I will get a good guage), and assuming that I did it properly (I believe that I did), the tread depth readings are as follows: LF: a bit over 7/32, RF: a bit over 7/32, LR: between 6/32 and 7/32, RR between 6/32 and 7/32.

Harry, I'd like to talk to you about your wheels/tires but can't figure out how to do a pm. If you can, please e-mail me back. Thanks Phil
