My car won't be back from the shop yet. I might pop by anyway to alleviate the withdrawal symptoms, but I suspect they might just get worse if I see all those pcars but drive home in the Audi

Park Place Ltd has a PCA Northwest Party every year. It keeps growing. Lots of fun cars and food/drink.

I am going to this as a medical provider:
http://ratcityrollergirls.com/
It's the championship smackdown!
A different kind of crowd than the Park Place party, chugging PBRs by the half-dozen.
The crowd is actually mostly Microsoft hipsters who come in their idea of their trailer-trash best....very entertaining.
I might come check out Park Place later....

Wow, the rain really kept the crowds down...I didn't see any Rennlisters. Maybe Harlan just as we were leaving.
Had lots of fun and the racing simulators were a lot of fun.
So I will post a big bit of news tomorrow about the event....
Cheers!

So the Park Place Ltd party was real fun. Of course my wife and I always seem to have fun where ever we go. She will draw people out and reach out to folks.
We really enjoyed the race simulators and she did pretty darn good even with high heels on! Our friends son took third best time and got a hand job...wash that is. It made for some great jokes!
The capper was the raffle...Gail was telling me she was going to win. The first ticked called wasn't present. Mine was the next one. I had to do a little boogie walk up to get my prize. Check this out:

So we are still laughing about this as we usually don't win stuff. Well except that Holland America cruise last year...any how.
WOO HOO, look at me!
Cheers!

I was there from 6:15 to around 9:45. Talked to Harlan & his Wife for a bit. We tried to get on the race simulators, but we stood there for 30min, & when it was our turn, one of the PP guys put people in front of us, we just gave up.
The rain did kind of kill the car vibe, I didn't even walk around & look at all the cool cars. It looked like there were around 12 993's there. My nice & clean C4, now has the dirty water streaks all over her.

Yeah, we made our showing pretty early around 6 and stayed around until 8. The rain really placed a damper on the function that encompasses the small campus of car sales and support buildings. First time in 9 years that Park Place has put on this function that it has rained. I think they should have moved those Griot's and Park Place car tents and used them to provide dryer passage for party goers instead of over those Ferrari and Lamborginis.
The staff split cars as they arrived through the main drive entrance and guided them into set model group areas. 993s were parked in the aisle west of the main building, Mike (Stealth) drove his recently detailed silver 993 with great rain water beads on it, parked a couple of cars behind my car.
The beer, wine, and martinis were good, the pasta and salad was a little odd for an appetizer with the beverages, as it wasn't really a meal and required either eating at a sales person's desk or finding an opening at one of the few stand-up tables.
When we arrived we walked over to the race simulators where there were people driving on them with a line waiting but people seemed to be on them for quite a length of time that had us moving onto see the other exhibits and then head over to the food and drink.
I had seen and reconnected with PCANWR members that I used to know when I was active before taking a few year hiatus.
This event, draws members that you will never see at any other regional event being the best attended event of the year with between 400-600 people, so if you walked by a lot of people you didn't know, well in the massive crowd, I only recognized and spoke with Mike from RL before we left to have dinner.
I'll post pictures when I get into the office.
