93K on my 95. I believe it is original as I have no paperwork proving otherwise!

89K on first clutch -- bought car with 76K and clutch still feels like when I bought it. Commuting on surface streets mostly...so I'm probably not doing my clutch any favors. So far -- however -- so good...

Hi!, there's a known or special test to know if the clutch has to be replaced (soon)?
-I heard about run the car in second gear over a hill...then if it slips it means that the clutch has to be replaced(?). any imputs apreciated! tkx.

LOL
Um, no. The whole idea of a new clutch is that it DOESN'T slip.

I'm replacing mine this week or the next. Only slips in 5th and 6th above 5.000 RPM (just before overspeeding speed limits - LOL).

Clutch life
Just sold my 1996 993 with 101,000 and the original clutch. Was sad to see the old car go.

'98 C2S with 50K. It's in the shop getting a new clutch as I write. Hope to get more than 50K on the replacement.

Andreas,
The wide bodied cars have no appreciable impact on clutch life. Its all about the driver and the way the car is driven.

Thanks Steve,
yeaph, you're right, i though that since the wide bodied are heavier than C2 and
C4, the clutch change became quicker.
