Here in California we have a hands free law so the Bluetooth is a must. I have the early Jawbone and can use it in the Cab with the top down on the freeway with the supercups screaming. Not a bad endorsement.

Thanks for the insight guys, sounds like the original Jawbone is a popular choice. Gotta love rennlist!

If you have an iPhone then the Apple bluetooth headset is the only way to go. It is tiny (and a beautiful piece of engineering) , which makes it easy to loose....
The range is not very far, but I love mine because of the clarity and size.
I have no idea why Apple hasn't marketed them aggressively.
I have a jawbone too, but it really didn't work for me.

How does the T505 work inside a noisy Carrera? I'm not fond of the hassle of a earbud, but like the idea of the speaker phone.
BTW - great talking to you at Darin & Mark's BBQ last week - your 993 is very nicely done!

Hey Eric,
Thanks. I'm glad to finally meet you. I like you AR C4S too especially the Rook wheels.
The T505 noise reduction works pretty good I'm really pleased with it. I don't get any complaints from folks that I talk to saying they can't hear me or there's alot of background noise.
I also bought one for my wife and she drives a Dodge Durango 5.9 w/Magnaflow mufflers and when I talk with her when she's driving in the SUV I can't here any back around noise.

The only problem I have with the Jawbone (and I really can't think of any other drawbacks) is that people simply can't hear me when walking around outdoors. People complain that it sounds like I'm talking to them in a tornado.
As long as you're using it indoors or in a car, I wholeheartedly endorse it. I had a few crappy Motorola headsets before, no-one could hear a damn word I said, and I couldn't hear them.

Good to know. I had a few Motorolas, and my 86 year old aunt could hear the exhaust, but not me. Go figure. I ran over my last one a few months ago and haven't gotten around to getting a new one. I need one for top-down driving.
