Default 993 RS Wheels?

Forgive me if this has been covered before, but are there any replicas made of the 993RS wheels? These are ones, I believe, which are similar to the 3.6 Turbo 3 piece wheels, but each spoke on the RS center is "sunken" sort of like the original 16" 993 standard wheel.

I would imagine originals are, if available, outrageously expensive. But has anyone like RH made copies?

Thanks in advance.
Jim

Kinesis made an RS replica and was in the process of updating the wheel when they were bought out by another company. Apparently the new company chose to not finish the redesign nor continue manufacturing the old wheel.

There are rumors that another company may be in the process of making another RS replica though.

Ahh- Damian! Nope- didn't remember even though I saw your recent thread on the pictures from the beach.

Well, it looks like I either find a used set of Kinesis somewhere (fat chance!) or I pony up for OEMs.... Unfortunately that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

I suppose I can call Kinesis, but I doubt they will make another set...

Harvey- do tell more about the rumors!

Speedline made the OEM version & they are marked Speedline for Porsche. Those sell for top dollar if you can find a set.

Another option is the Speedline Alessio, they can usually be had in the $2-3K range. Try a search on Speedline & you'll find several threads.

Top secret right now ... but maybe in the next year or so it will come to fruition. There is obviously a demand out there.

Yes, I think Jim does have a set of RH's. I think he has a set of Speedline Alessio's as well. His last name is Dorociak. He is refurbishing a set of RS Speedlines for my Cabriolet. If you contact him tell him that Evan sent you. Good luck!

Wow! Damian, as we say in Boston, your Pawsha looks wicked shaahp! Please post more pics! BTW, I had a 968 key cut for my Jetta.

I found these a while back when I was still considering going with the RS look, and I have had them bookmarked ever since.

I have a set for my C2S that I'm not using (currently have Fikse FM-10's). You can see them in my Avatar. PM me if you're interested - I can get you photos and specs (they're currently in storage)
