At this time I have RS wing & splitters . Prior to that I had a Gembella wing and have to say there is a difference at higher speed . The Gembella wing kept the car more planted .

Cheers Guy

Wings or spoilers will have very, very, very little gain for rear end grip on a street car. Mechanical grip through stickier rear tires, wider rear tires, suspension tuning, tire pressures and suspension alignment will have far better results than a rear wing or spoiler. Get a rear wing or spoiler because you think it looks cool, not because of how you think it will help you on the road. It won't. I guarantee that if you were to drive two cars back-to-back, one car with a 3.8 rear wing and the other with a stock, motorized wing, you would never, ever be able to tell the difference at even high street speeds of 100mph.

However, if you're driving 150mph on the street and what you desire is a great deal of aero grip, then I would go with a GT2 rear spoiler and GT2 front splitter.

I am in need of the latter -what would be you're second choice for over 150mph-as a gt2 is rather large
but cool.

Autobahn time!-plus all the unexplored back roads of Europe.
In a safe and timely manner!

Hmmm, I drove my 993 at 160mph within the first 24 hours that I got it, and on the crappy, stock suspension, to boot. I thought it had no behavior issues. At 150mph, you're probably not doing that much turning . . .

Anyway, the next step down is a 3.8 RS wing.

I'd go 993TTs wing, RS front splitters and side skirts. Porsche knows what they are doing re: down force here.

Mine is absolutely planted, although I have never exceeded 65 MPH. Steve and Terry can vouch for me.

I have never seen so many pessimists in my life-if you have a porsche and have not gone over the speed limit-you must be in second gear or not being real -as for Ashland-you are right-their really is no where to go that fast, more than 2 seconds ,but if their is a will their is a way!
although on the big island of Hawaii( where I had the car for five years)-it was possible-plus the police had to have their blue lights on, night and day-you could spot them miles off-i believe at this time the traffic has gotten quite bad-too bad as it had some of the greatest roads to drive on! So you can imagine , Germany looks really good! So back to all your wings!

Another advantage to a bigger wing/diff wing (I have the turbo on mine) is the fact that it is running a bit cooler. So it is both cool looking (to me) and effective.

I agree with Mark,

If you want to know what works, just go to a club race... -Lots of GT2 and 3.8 spoilers in the non-stock classes...
