X-Post: A Rare Porsche gathering: 2 Rufs, 993GT2, and a Cayman (Pics)
Hi Folks,
I originally posted this thread on the 993TT forum, but thought you folks might like to see it, hence the X-post.
Steve. Jochen, Melissa and I had lunch together today, and these Porsches made a group appearance:
Melissa: 2007 base Cayman.
Pong: 1995 Ruf BTR-2.
Steve: Rufus (need I say more?)
Now the star of the show:
Jochen: 1996 Andial 3.8L 993 GT2, with sunroof delete. His car has 500+ horses, and weights 2,850 lbs. Alum race doors and hood, AWD-delete to become a 2 WD, sunroof-delete, lightweight laminate rear glass, etc. etc. It is a beast. I love them original Speedline for Porsche wheels. This car is as authentic as one gets as far as genuine 993 GT2 parts go.
I said it many times, the 993 GT2 is the most incredible Porsche road car design I have seen. This is quite a collection of rare Porsche samples.

Nice Shots! I wondered if the Cayman was going to remain "backwards" but it was moved...
Interesting with your wiper "delete"...that would be insane to do that here in Vancouver!

OMG that GT2 is HOTTT!! 
I think I'll save my NA mod money and hold on untill I can do a C2>GT2 conversion with proper engine and body parts AND re-coat in black. That's it! That's the future of my 993!
