Cup Cage is almost finished, and it looks like things will be happening fast from this point on...pics of the cage: (Note: not all welds were complete at the time these pics were taken).

Wow, going all in!! Great stuff.

The only thing I see that I dont like is the sharp bow at the top tubes where the cross the car laterally. In reality, the door bars do most of the work for side impacts anyhow. Probably nothing to worry about.

Aren't those sharp bows for added strength in a roll-over...not side protection? The door bars bow out slightly as well for the same reason.

Looks great!

Is that the original dash? I noticed that it has speaker perforations.

LOL...yes, it sure is Bill. But this IS my off season - so busy at work in the summer = no time for track, plus the heat! I'm pretty much non-stop at the track from September thru May however. :-)

I always suspected that if I moved to Fla full time, that summers there would be like winters here

Ahh, Florida. It's probably more pleasant at the track during the 'winter'.

Heads are back from the machine shop with big valves and machining completed.

Should be coming together quickly now...

Did they weld up the lower fins? They have a tendancy to crack otherwise
