Default Price Feeler - 5 spoke lightweights for sale

Hi Gang,
I have a set of MY 02 5 spoke factory wheels for sale. The fronts are in good shape, chips but no curb rash. The rears each have a crack on the inside bead. Could use a repaint. What are they worth?

Just my opinion, but I think the cracked wheels would make a nice hose rack...

Not sure how they cracked, I didn't hit a curb or anything. Plus, they are only cracked on the INSIDE bead.

IMO, they could be repaired and refinished. But it would probably cost around $600 for all 4.

I expect that they are worth $600 plus shipping. Or you may be better off selling individually.

The rears are worth their scrap aluminum weight... the fronts? Sell them individually to people who have a bent rim... 300 apiece, min.

A cracked wheel is a good thing to sell to an enemy.

Sell the cracked wheel to a scrap yard and as others have mentioned sell the others as single wheels.

The local place that repairs and refinishes rims would not touch one of mine which had a similar crack. They said even if it was welded it could not be repaired safely. And these people take rims bent like pretzels and straighten them.

Throw them away.

my hairline crack in a similiar spot on a Volk SE37k, was from the lame potholes in SoCal. As you probably know Volk are some strong wheels.

I think you have a moral obligation to take a big hammer and beat the crap out of the two cracked ones, then take 'em to the scrap yard.

If you don't ruin them before you get rid of them, some idiot will put them on a car and end up killing himself and no telling how many other innocent folks.

Just MHO...

You didn't answer what you thought they were worth.
