993 Gt2 in Burlingame?
Was dining in Burlingame tonight and saw a white GT2 parked on the street. Had the emblem, flares, wheels, splitters and wing. Looked inside and saw a huge subwoofer in the rear seat area. Was it a real GT2 or someone's clone?
Any Bay Area guys seen it?

Wait a minute, you're out here and haven't tried to catch any of the locals?
If that car had ssr wheels, I have seen it parked at a Porsche mechanic's shop in Daly City but haven't gotten close to see it. It looks good weather it is a GT2 or a clone. Hopefully someone here knows more about it.
Enjoy your stay!

Really good food, decent wine list, don't let the front door scare you, there's a big upstairs...

Not to take away from anyone who has put the GT2 body parts on a 993 but one way to tell is to look for a sunroof and/or rear wiper (or just the hole in the rear glass). The GT2 has neither. After that check the VIN plate; a GT2 will have ZZZ as characters 4-6 since they were never built for the US market. (The last check will only work in the US!)
