Does anyone know the do's and dont's of fuel additives? I was thinking of giving my baby a treat as it had a hard week.
Any recommendations?
Cheers

Toluline... Toxic stuff but, google it on the web and you will see it's the best octane booster. This was the additive used in F1 cars years ago and still has great results.

Most additives are nothing short of snake oil but I will say that I had a eureka moment using BG44K.

Louis,
We've had the best luck with LubroMoly two products: Jectron & Ventil Sauber. Their functions overlap a bit but a can of each into the tank at fillup time works absolute wonders when you go drive it hard for a few hours afterward,..![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I would NOT recommend using Toluene,.............

+1 on BG44K and also (every so often) Berryman's B12 and/or Seafoam.

(Bought it 3 yrs. ago - to the month! - at 20,000 miles, and just turned 34,000 over the weekend!)

Been using Ferox230 http://www.ferox230sales.com/
First Tank I didn't really notice anything. I am on my second tank and mileage is increased.
I put some in my Wife's Benz, and she said the car ran better.

+ 1 for Techron.
I buy it at AutoZone a couple of times a year when they have the rebate specials ($9.99 rebate or something like that)

Steve: Thank you very much for your input. I may have to give LubroMoly a try in the future.
