There's a great movie about the Mad Trapper. Charles Bronson play AJ, Lee Marvin the Mountie. Loved it. Death Hunt if I recall correctly.

The Mad Trapper sure makes for good reading, but that picture sure looks like Kurt Russell standing next to his helicopter from the great 1982 re-make of "The Thing".

I don't think they had color photographs or helicopters in the Mad Trapper's time...

Uhh, that photo is a still of Kurt Russell in the movie The Thing. Great flick by the way.

Yeah I changed - I was spooking too many people with the Mad Trapper's death photo.

The movie Death Hunt was good, but pretty much way off from the real story.
