Talking 993 Highway Mileage.

Hey guys just curious and lazy today (@ work between patients at a busy ER). With the obscene premium gas prices today what kind of mpg are you guys getting?

Some say 19 mpg in a 993, others say up to 25 mpg in a 997 (I usually get 17 or 18 mpg in my Cayenne S

TIA and enjoy your Porsche driving season!

On a recent 600 mil round trip to VT last weekend, I got a little over 20 mpg in my 993TT...very heavy foot.

Just measured mine last week...23 MPG on rural non-interstate highways.

I got 20mpg in my Turbo R (500+ hp) at 85mph when I drove it home from Miami. In town is brutally worse. It is worth it, I didn't buy it for the mileage.

Funny thing is that the OBC overstates the mileage by 50%.

90% highway miles in my DD 993. Consistently get just under 20 mpg. It's hard not to hit the go button.

Especially the TT OBC right after fill up: 32.5 @75.
Reality is 15-18 town, 23-25 hwy.

I only see 12MPG or so, but my commute is all stop light to stoplight city. Out on the hwy, which I rarely do, it gets much better. but I don't do enough long trips to caclulate.

Im going to guess about 15 around town, 20-22 on the highway. I think living in the mountains it isnt as good as living at sea level.

When I first got my car, I managed 22.2mpg at an average of 100mph when on the highway.

I am getting +20 mpg with a clear freeway going into work (30min) and stop and go coming back (1 hour). But since the car is new I am revving it a little too much in the stop and go.
