Can't find post about wheel-well cleaning
There was a recent writeup w/ photos on a 993 (or 964?) fantastic wheel well cleaning job.
Can't seem to find it. Can anyone provide the link?
Thanks

Pretty awesome thread, it inspired my to clean my wells. I think i used about 6 nights cleaning my wheel wells, which were in worse shape than the ones in the thread.
Citrus cleaner seemed to be most efficient, also used some light acid (meant for alloy wheels) on the aluminum parts.
Many thanks to Intheair for a great thread and congrats on the 997

You characters are funny! I've cleaned the underside maybe three times in 2 1/2 years - it gets cleaner with each attempt. The car does get driven - 14,000 miles since I've owned it. In fact, I caned it through monsoon-like conditions today on the way to nsully's for a party! It survived.
Let'e see what the Concours types say in a few weeks - the car is entered in this year's Parade......
