This is posted since Rennlist tells me electronically, incorrectly, that I am not a member and that I have been unable to get it corrected.
So I have my 1995 993 C2 for sale. I have fallen in love with a 997 Targa. I wish I could keep both. Let me bore you with the 993 history.
I picked it up at the factory in Stuttgart on July 11, 1994. It has 66,000 miles on it. The color is Polar Silver over Midnight Blue leather. The accessories are 17” wheels, LSD, Power seats both sides, power lumbar supports both sides. GPS negotiable. No modifications. No track. ALL records. Toyo TR-1 (about 3K). Inculdes pre-wired Valentine, car cover, vinyl seat covers for the dog(s).
What is wrong? NOTHING! About 70% of its miles are interstate. As evidence, it still has its original brakes and clutch. What has happened to it? I have replaced the F/R bumper covers twice due to errant slow-speed contact by other drivers. Dumped it into a friend’s ditch backing up beside his driveway at night. Roof repainted due to a loft cover in the garage becoming dislodged (it is a quasi-garage queen). Replaced AC compressor. Replaced master cylinder. That is it!
Put on < 5K/year. Gets 18 MPG city, 23 highway.
Check it out on Carfax: WP0AA2991SS321244
Asking $34,000 firm
If I do not sell it, I intend to continue to love it. I am retired!
