Are you sure you went through the clear, & not just scratched it up pretty bad?
Take the #2 & go over it a few times, you might able to get it all out. If not, you might want to find a local Pro Detailer, & see what they can do.
You usually have to go over that spot with sand paper a lot to get through the clear coat.
