I agree I think the GT3 seats look to bigin a 993 (IMO). Go with pole positions.

The GT3 belong in a 996.
Al,

I don't understand. Since the faux GT3 seats and the real ones look almost identical, save for the seat area, how do the seats in question look better than the Recaro GT3 seats?

Has anyone actually seen the gt3 seats in a 993? What seats are you running in your car Mark?

they look really nice. i'm now having buyers remorse. in my garage is the new set of perlon recaro GT3 seats. when i look at them they seem really cheap like maybe they were made in china and i got hosed :-)

they are made for the 996 and i havent yet figured out how i'll mount them but i paid over $2300

I have a Recaro HANS seat for me and a Recaro Pole Position for the passenger. I used to have leather GT3 seats and thought they worked well and looked good. I will say that I really like the leather PP's, too.

Very nice Mark, I don't think the gt3's look to big for the car! Do you still have them, I'll buy them from you?

Default some photos of "perlon" recarro GT3 seats

also you can be the first to make an offer on the 17" turbo look twist wheels behind these I'm in the middle of sorting out some "issues" with the new RUF 18s I tried to install on friday.

Mark,
I meant that the pole position seat looks better in a 993, compared to a 996
GT3 seat in the same 993.
The big uper wings on the GT3 seat do not flow with the 993 design. But then again, what do I know.
I now have a TT 996.....

Al,

Okay, I understand. Yeah, I have to agree; the PP's look better than the GT3's in a 993. But the GT3's do not look as visually discordant as some might think. Also, I think there are better harness placement options with the wider GT3 harness holes than the PP's more narrow holes, which can be a benefit for drivers with longer torsos.

That is how the factory should have made them...or Recaro aftermarket. I think Recaro is pretty lame in their aftermarket lineup.

Really??? I think Recaro makes (or has made) some really cool seats for a variety of purposes...
