My '95 has molded plastic wheel well liners in the front but nothing for the rear wheel wells. I had a '97 that had wheel well liners in both the front and back.

Are our cars suppose to have molded plastic wheel well liners in the rear?

Thanks.

Hmm. I think the question is somewhat vague. Can you post a pic of your wheel well?

To further clarify or confuse -

Mine has the liner up front and in the rear. But, the rear is a very narrow liner up against the outer edge with the remaining area by the mufflers and engine exposed.

Pics would help.

Yes, all 993s have a full compliment of wheel well liners. Eight main pieces, plus the two small covers just aft of the front wheels. And rubber edging. And misc. speed nuts and black oxide coated screws. Etc.

I replaced each and ever piece two years ago. And I mean everything. OCDmax.

If you need the part numbers, I can provide. Some of the 'halves' are very reasonably priced, while others can be around $100 each. For half of a wheel well....

Mine has the mufflers exposed.

Andreas, do you have the part number for the "cap" in the front passenger side wheel well that is toward the bottom, right by the door? I guess it covers some of the lines to the oil cooler? Somehow mine is missing.

Perfect! Thanks.

What are the differences between the two number 11's on the part number list?

I think it has already been made clear, but yes, my 95 fender well is completely shrouded in plastic liner; nothing exposed.

So what's with the exposed 95's. Was it a running change?

So if you peek in behind the tire, you can't see your muffler? Seriously? That's an interesting bit of trivia. My muffler is exposed.
