Sounds like you have enough toys to spread the love around. As long as you don't daily drive the thing, you'll be able to keep it excercised while keeping the miles low.

+1

Tough call... this really is a collector level car.
I think I'd pick a happy medium and use it as a "special occasion" car... and find numerous special occasions. I think I'd find it hard NOT to drive the GT3RS...

By the way, if you don't post more pics (when you get the chance) I am going to hunt it down like a paparazzi would and take pics of it in compromising situations.

These 993's just seem to be all over the place with no miles and I almost would have a guilt feel.

The car is fricken cool. I like it better ten fold than any of the 5 -996's I had previously owned.
Nice stable!

Drive it! They made so few of the Ss that I wouldn't think a bunch of miles would hurt you financially. Also, that car has so few miles that you could drive a lot and still not "catch up" to the other Ss out there. With your stable, you're not going to put that many miles on it anyway.

With the other cars in your stable, it sounds to me like you could comfortably put 1,000 miles a year on this true "work of art" (enjoying it along with your other rides and keeping it is good mechanical condition) and 10 years from now you will still have one of the lowest mile examples around.

Any chance I could purchase a futures option on it?

What a fantastic car! I can't say, with what you already have, to drive it a lot, but drive it for your enjoyment. And posting pics of the entire stable wouldn't offend anyone 'round here.

If you track, use the GT3RS for that. Keep the 993 spotless and don't drive it quite so much. Don't know what other cars you have. I have a 968 DD and 993 "occasional" car.

In order for me to answer your question accurately I need you to send the car to me with the keys. After studying (driving!) the car I will give you my assessment. This may , unfortunately, take a considerable amount of time. No more than a year or two!

Congrats on a beautiful twin and hope you enjoy it whether by driving it ir just staring at it!
Tim.

H20Skier,

Was that your car at Barrier Motors Tuesday? I was in the service bay when I heard a TurboS growl into the facilty? You have to provide it some regular excercise by giving the systems a good workout every once in a while.

It was built to drive of course.

Now thats just awesome.

These cars were ment to be enjoyed. Sounds like your stable is just fine to spread the love around.

If I were in your shoes there would be little room for debate. Take care and enjoy it.
