interior color, is this classic grey?
1996 C4S.
hoping to order mats.
If no obvious consensus, i'll order color samples first.

Good luck ordering carpet though. Definitely get carpet samples first. I have the same carpet as you, but ended up buying Space Grey mats (that's a 996 color) because it matched the best of all the samples they sent me.

Get black floor mats....makes a nice contrast, and shows dirt much less than a grey. When I bought my car, it had grey mats. Cleaned them several times, but they always looked a bit dingy, so I tried black and it's a good look.

My classic grey 993 was ordered with black carpet. It looked great.

2nd. I went with Black mats (contrast) with classic grey Turbo lettering. (for the 993tt obviously)

Thanks to all for advice.
I agree, black mats with silver or grey script, (if any), seems to make most sense and will complement the black dash bits.

I alternate between my black and grey, and I definitely prefer the grey. Both have body-colored Carerra script. Yes the grey will show dirt, but it does look better imho.
