Suzuki started out making weaving looms.
Soishiro Honda started out making piston rings then bolt on bicycle engines. I used to work there.

Wrong AWD rally car. A6M Zero was one of Mitsubishi's most famous products.
Nevermind!

One thing that the Bilsteins won't do for you is improve suspension compliance. I had US M030 shocks + RoW M030 springs on my first 993 and have HDs + RoW M030 springs on my current car.
The HDs are harsher over small bumps than the relatively fresh (8k mile/3 year old) OEMs.

This is the one comment I have heard alot in searching through this forum on the Bilstein HDs. Is it the Bilstein HDsor just the combo with the M030s? Perhaps the H&R springs are the way to go.

I wish I knew the reason - could be overdamped for the springs &possibly exacerbated by the progressive nature of the RoW M030s? Could be as my racing mechanic says just the nature of the high pressure Bilsteins. My Koni equipped cars have been more supple over the small stuff while being no less controlled. I'll take a little harsher considering that they should last longer than OEM.

I am looking for shocks/springs too!
I wish Koni yellows were available! But nope! That would just be too easy.....
As far as the KW Coilovers, the pss10s seem to be everyone's favorite and cheaper too.
The Bilstein HD/ Mo3o setup is getting too many mixed reviews for my taste.
H&R street Performance non-adjustable coilovers seem to be a good and simple alternative. I might try these if i find a good deal on them.
Good luck!

I'm actually contemplating approaching Koni to see if they will make me a set of double adjustables.
Incidentally, my E30 325is has Koni yellows which I love. And 993 has HDs which I hate. The HDs simply have too much compression dampening for anything but a really smooth road or track.

The nice thing about Koni is that they are supposedly adjustable dampening up front ($200 each). The downside is that you use the hacksaw the factory strut and fit the Koni inside the old one. I dont doubt that it works, its just not bolt on...
