AND I LOVE IT!!!
My 993 is so engaging, responsive, communicative, wild, forgiving (a little), and fun. With the sunroof open and the windows down I drove the same roads today that I ride and it was just as good....better even because of the slightly decreased pucker factor...but there's just enough there with a rear-engine car when pushing it in the corners... So I named her.
You know the girl you dated when you first graduated college and moved to the big city. She was wild and fun. No matter how many times you thought she would stray while you were at the club, she always went home with you. At the restaurant, and with your friends, she was wholesome and sweet. She only dated that guy in highschool and that guy in college, but you wonder where she learned to do those "special bedroom things." And what about those little scars in all the right places... But she loves you, and thrills you, and you don't care because you're having such a wonderful time.
Well I didn't marry that girl, but I think my 993 is her car equivalent and this time I'm keeping her for life. As she is. Maybe as she ages more I'll get the surgeon involved but right now I'm loving her "patina."
So, here she is again. Meet Jessica.

Thanks guys I already did a formal intro here:
https://rennlist.com/forums/993-forum/422947-newbie-in-north-nj-a-proper-impulse-long.html
Just explaining how I feel about the girl now that I've had her for a few weeks.
At first I wanted to spend all my money right away to fix up various things, but now I realize I can live with them for a little while.
Oh, and this was my best buddy "Vader." He stayed true to the end. But I knew someday he'd get me in trouble...
