Gutted. Just paid $1600 for 2 rears!
I just about fell off my perch when I got the price for 2 rear tyres.
$790.00 ea here. I knew they would cost but it's about two and half time dearer here than in the USA. Gutted.
Living in relative paradise has it's price. Still the old ones are shagged and need replacing.
I got about 8000km's from them which is also crap.
What mileage is acceptable?
Could have brought a really nice high end CD player at trade price for that!

- In 2000, I was paying $1100 EACH for 18" rears
- I would get a consistant 15-20 000km out of my rears. 25 000km from fronts.
[on coilovers, 1.5 & 2 deg neg camber]
If you are seeing 8000km, then you have serious alignment issues.
Toe-in setting would be a good place to start.......
