I think Silver with oraange is THE color (see mine to the left). I hate black wheels with any color car. They always look dirty.

AC993C2S, I appreciate it is not a colour under consideration, but look at the first car for sale here

http://www.gtclassics.co.uk/gtclassics2.htm

A 993 CS recreation for sale in the Uk, at recent exchange rates that is not far off of $80k !!!

I was trying to be relevent and helpful, if you feel this is a hijack of the colour thread i will gladly delete this post, at least it shows you a silver and a white car..cheers

+1, although Riviera Blue isn't bad, either...

Clubsport...here's a Viper Green 95 RSCS, or is it really Signal Green and mislabeled?

Technically, I am led to believe it is signal at this time, affectionately known as Viper from the earlier cars.......stunning, this was previously supplied by H&S in germany, the car was a special order from porsche and seems to have been for sale out of japan for the last 3 years!!!
A fine choice, I have seen a genuine 964 CS in the UK, which I understand was ordered by the original buyer of the 93 CS in Japan....This green looks amazing in the metal, it tends to look darker on a dull day...

not a CS, but this gives an idea how it looks when the sun is not shining on it (we are used to that in the Uk!)

What a fantastic list of colors.
I love the Orange and Rivi. in particular.

The Viper Green reminds me of a pretty neat movie, "100 Porsches and me"... cool flick.

If you want 'different' go with flat black. They use it on pre-production protoypes and IMHO it is VERY cool.

I would be wrong to not go Riv Blue 'just' to get Mother Superior to whip you for ignoring the suggestion! Riv Blue gets my vote.

a 993 is not going to look right with some of the colors you mentioned.
I agree with Bob, A classic silver is the right choice. Polar or then artic.

I picked the RS Green because it stands out like the orange but still feels kind of organic, if you know what I mean. Fits the shape of the car well.

An added bonus is that it fits in with the sustainability craze...

Thanks for all these opinions guys!

Silver is not really an option for me either. I owned a Silver C2S, and for a DD street car it was great, but this is for an eventual race car so I'm looking for something more bold.

German cars look best in white in my opinion especially Pcars and will always be my choice for a street car, however, you can always buy a 993 in white. Since you are spending the money on a color change and it will be a dedicated track car, GT3RS orange is my top choice and riviara blue would be a close second. Just take a look at Project orange. That car is a sweet! Remember, you have to live with it.. Best of luck with your project.
