There is really only ONE choice left - the Harlequin paint job!
Remember those Harlequin VW Golfs? You know, the ones where all the body panels were different colors?
Whether or not the Technicolor artwork meets your standards is another question on the Ferrari 348...

If you have to change colors then I pick the Orange and black. I also like the other posters Idea of flat black as well. Different and all business. What color would look good with the flat black though? I like the Idea of Gray numbers for the stealth look with the flat black paint. I could repair that myself as well after a rough weekend of racing. Probably not too hard to spray that color in the off season.

Have you considered having the car vinyl wrapped?
One of the Porsche fraternity over here has a silver mk1 Gt3 wrapped in stealth matt black...looks fantastic.
The advatages could be trying an orange car for 6months, then signal green to see what you like...obvioulsy it costs each time, but would cost way less than a full paint job only to find you are not happy with it later.

I agree with the above posts in the sense that the color should be period correct. Or at least, that's what I would do.. Rivi blue is gorgeous. That being said, I still love the Audi RS blue and also the Ferrari fly yellow.. Or how about Vesuvius? (With mirrors, handles, grill, wheels in graphite gray)

Riviera Blue is a great and rare color on a 993. No one ordered the color when it was an option on the 993, and now it seems that a good deal of people on this forum would have ordered it on a 993 if they had the chance.
I like the mint because not many will have it and it will look great on a 993 rs, especially an RSCS. I saw the mint on a euro 964rs one time and really loved it, however not a great color for a street car.
All the colors listed would be excellent choices, however I would stay away from the 2 popular colors offered on the current GT3RS, even though they would look awesome too.

Curioulsy, I have a mint 964 CS parked outside my house now! (it is a mates car). it does get a lot of attention on the road, I think it suits the 964 better than a 993 myself, it is just that bit more retro.
I have seen a mint green UK 993 C2S, nice, but too tame for a CS, i think you need something a tad more punchy...if it s going to be green...go signal!

Sort of, Blut Orange or literally blood orange was a Porsche colour used in the early '70s.
The Gt2 in the pic was a special order in the old Porsche colour, apparently the guy had a 993 CS in that colour too (?), as one does!
It is striking, and again really changes colours in the sunlight, at times and from certain angles it does look a little like guards red which is why I never suggested it earlier, on the basis it is fairly close to what you have now.
