Can anybody recommend a good shop in Northern VA to polish out my 993??? Thx in advance!

I've been in the service business in the area for quite a few years and there's only one shop that I will ever trust with my vehicles. It's in Manassas and it's called 'Autocrafters'. The owner (and sole employee) is named Robert. He can be contacted at 703-335-9646.

He currently has another member's 993, my 993 Turbo and his work speaks for itself. He is not a detail shop, but he can polish your car provided it hasn't been buggered by others in the past and has enough material to polish.

 

Does Robert clay bar? What's his turn around time like? Manassas is a hike for me.

 

I know Robert also, but he does not detail nor polish cars.

 

What do you mean by "polish"? I interpreted it as a light surface sanding to remove imperfections. If you're just looking for a detail shop, I have no input.

 

Maybe he means "Polish," as in Poland. Marlon, are you getting a screen door installed on your sunroof?

 

Noah - is your comment meant to be derogatory of folks of Polish decent or simply a misinterpreted stab at tongue in cheek???

Call the guys at Intersport (Keiko). There is a great detail shop a few doors down from them but I forget the name. He'll know it.

 

stephenwz968 on this board has a mobile detailing business and I am going to have him do my rust bucket sometime when I stop spending money on other stuff! He is based out of Jersey I think so you may be out of his range. pm me if you need his number.
