I actually like it, might be too much for others.

No affiliation, etc, just found it on Craigs and thought I'd share.

With some Surflex one could add some black and mute the shock of the red interior. The top has to go. If I were in the market I would take a close look at it. I think those color will make it a hard sell to many.

I was going to buy it, but after the ppi I didnt. Issues were needed brakes, clutch releases all the way at the top and will need replacing very soon. Bad curb rash on both rear wheels. Carpet on drivers side lip was worn all the way to to floor boards. Left bolster on drivers seat is split. Car has a cell antenna drilled in the metal between the windshield and cab top. Will need tires soon. The milage was mostly in the city of S.F. hard hilly miles. It was very tempting but when I added up everything that need repairs I felt it was too much. The other thing that bothered me was being a low milage car nothing in the engine had been replaced yet. All reg maintence had been done. After a lot of thought I felt my higher milage 964 was a better car. Still looking for the right 993 it will be there some day. I will say I learned a lot from you guys, so the $300.00 for the ppi was money well spent.

The Chestnut interior is more subtle than it looks. I own a polar silver C4 with a Chestnut interior (I wanted black originally), and now think it is the best combination.

I gotta tell you ... I could've bought that same car (or at least the same color combo) in Kansas City back in 2001 ... at the Porsche dealer ... with 25k miles ... for next to nothing. I tried really, really hard to like it ... adventurine green over chestnut top and interior ... but my final conclusion was it was so ugly I would go blind if I looked at it long enough.
It is definitely a color combination for a particular taste.
Now, grand prix white over chestnut with a chestnut top ... that's one beautiful car.
