By the way your 993 looks great.
I think the best size is Porsche's Cup car wheel (which is made by Momo, see image).
I have that and it's slightly smaller than Juha's we compared and since it's authentic Porsche item, costs quite a bit more (checked from Carnewal and it's 445 euros...) You can get that same size from Momo directly too but then you don't get the Porsche lettering on a spoke...

Great thing about both is that the steering wheel comes almost 2" closer to you.

I drove with Juha's 993 when it still had the original wheel, I've had my Cup wheel probably for 4-5 years now and when driving with stock wheel... Man it felt like I was driving a tractor or something... The steering wheel felt huge!

thanks finn, my steering wheel in my new f-450 is sportier than the stock 993, just kidding, but I know either of those wheels will be a huge improvement.

I've been looking around and noticed that the 993 RS Clubsport wings all seem to have large side air inlets, vs. the wing on this particular car. Is that because, per the above post, it is a 964 wing?

I assume 993RSCS inlets are functional? How do they connect to the intake, if at all?

Matt,

The RSCS inlets, like the 993 GT2 wing inlets, are functional, but you'll have to connect the right side inlet to the airbox to maximize the air gulping. I'm not sure why the 964 3.8 RS wing does not have inlets, but I think the RSCS and the GT2 wings create too much drag.

I could not believe what a huge improvement my Momo Mod .07 wheel made to my driving. It is that good and just the right wheel diameter, wheel thickness and reach for my body type.

I think it will be a huge improvement, my seat is fixed in the perfect position, but I could use the steering wheel a little closer. Plus the bus wheel has to go.
