I sent an e-mail to Gert for a possible group buy for his car cover as there was some interest on another post.


Hi Derek,

These are the prices that I can offer :

For individual shipments :

If you can get 10 participants, the price becomes 225 Euro shipping included.
Special covers (cars with spoilers) are 235 Euro shipping included.

One shipment for 10 covers :

Normal covers : 175 Euro

Special covers : 185 Euro

Shipping for one box with 10 covers is 135 Euro.

If we can get 10 people interested we would be able to get the group buy pricing. Personally would prefer to do the individual shipments avoiding the issue with having someone deal with shipping to everyone along with the customs tax. Anyone interested in a group buy? If so, lets see if we can get 10 interested people.

Derek - I am interested in at least one "normal" cover (possibly two). I agree that individual shipping is probably best, esp as a large shipment of 10 covers would increase the likelihood of import duties being imposed.

I'm interested...need one for a widebody car w/ Turbo S tail...black preferred. If it is in fact 50 Euros to do a combined shipment, I'd suggest we go that route. I'll provide my FedEx number to the coordinator to ship my cover to me when they arrive in the US.

 

I'm in for a black NB "regular" cover.

 

I really need a new one.. I added a TS spoiler, and my old one from Gert wont fit now. Count me in on a red one "special cover"

this is the cover i bought when i had my car...it is a great indoor cover...you won't be disappointed.

 

Count me in for a silver grey. I have the techart EuroTurbo trim package with a turbo tail (on a narrow body).

I'm fine with either group or individual shipping, but think that individual shipping may be easier on all involved.

Just let me know what I need to do.

 

I'm in...Standard Cover-- Bordeaux in color--assuming its dark red/wine similiar to Arena. If not, Black.

GERT--Do you have any pics of the Bordeaux cover ???

 

Hi everyone - The savings would be approx. 36 Euros for the group shipment after you consider splitting the cost for the bulk shipment / 10. This would exclude shipping within the US.

Lets make this group buy for individual shipments to each person directly from Gert... which would make the transaction easier on all.

Looks like we're close to getting the min. 10 need for the group buy pricing.

I was too late for the last group buy on this and couldn't wait....oh well. IMHO it is the finest indoor cover available. Can't remember if it's on his website or not, but Gert told me his supplier of these is the same Italian manufacturer that supplies Ferrari with the covers that go out with their cars.

 

It must be the GB season! Got to be tough for some of us right after the Christmas Season.
Anyways this Car Cover is just Beautiful and I'm close to joining the club here - just can't decide on the colour.

Does Gert need additional specific information or are there simply 2 sizes?

Unless one individual is willing to deal with the hassle, I would suggest the one-person = one order method.

Russ - there are two sizes for the 993 (P93) and you'll just need to specify if you have a spoiler or not.

 

Okay let's not hold up the GB here - I really like the black but I will have to go with the Silver Grey.
