Default wheel size

I currently have 18' twists on a 95 model car lowered. I am considering buying a set of 17" cups as an extra set of wheels.
How much difference will I notice in the look of the car? Performance?

Ride should be similar, but I'd say your comfort will improve- less noise from small bumps, etc. Performance tradeoffs: 17" weigh a bit less- lower unspring weight and rotating mass, but you give up some contact patches. I have 17"s for sale:

hmm...if you decide to go with the cups and want to offload the twists to help reduce that expense...let me know. ;-)

Concerning the offset, you need 55 in front and 55 or 70 for the rear ( 55 looks better )

Thanks for the info. I wont be seling the twists. I figure I'll swap wheels out every time I need tires.
That way I will always have a fresh set of tires on standby and Variety is the spice of life.

i'm looking at a set of 17"" cups . The ad says 23 offset front 15 rear.
What kind of spacers will I need, and where is the best place to buy?

Those o/s are for 7 & 9" wheels on a 911 w/ SC/Carrera flares

They will already stick out too far on a 964 or 993, spacers will make it worse

Slider, I have a 98% perfect set of OEM Porsche Cup II's off my 96 993 NB, if you are interested. No curb rash ever, original finish. Removed to upgrade to 18" Fikses a couple years ago.

They have an almost new set of BFG G-Force T/A's mounted and balanced...less than 1000 miles. Also, 2 sets of center caps...factory colored crests and the concave black background ones.

I'll take $800 cash including delivery to you in Fayetteville (I'm in Cobb County).

PM me if interested and I'll send some photos.
